firewall question!!

firewall question!!

this is fora 99 maxima...... i saw a thread started last week and pictures showing where the power wire should go thru the firewall.......left of the master cylinder.... i dont got a hole there unless i drill one

Don't be scared to drill if you need to. As long as you seal the hole when your done, there is nothing wrong with this.

Be sure to insulate the wire with a rubber gromet so it doesn't rub and wear our the wire's insulation and cause a short.

If your smart enough to install an inline fuse between the battery & the fire wall, it will blow it. If not, if could do all kinds of damage, to what exactly? I'm not sure. It depends on where the wire goes.

Alright just making sure, cuz i have a fuse at the battery and on the amp itself
