WHOA Slick help a brotha out REALMOFEXURSION

There making fun of me....!!!!!!

http://realmofexcursion.com/phpBB2/v...hp?p=3003#3003

I saw more videos of other atlas's and DA MN

You can see the amp setting on the web site

I am running Apline 9827
Amp- Profile 1000m running at 310watt rms
15in Atlas (if you couldn't figure it out)
I bought wire off Crutchfield for 40bucks (power, ground, fuse, rca, lead)
Streetwire speaker wire...

The only thing I can thing of being the problem is RCAs but I highly don't it would make this my of a difference....

ah yes, i was also wondering why your sub didn't move much to LNT.

at first i thought it was your SSF set too high, but all the settings look ok to me...

yeah, but the bass notes in the song doesn't centralize around one frequency.

well i havent seen the video to comment on it but lets remember a few things: its a ported box, its a 15, and its getting 300 watts rms being taped on a digi cam i bet. this all equates to...NOTHING when compared to the stuff on that site. its one thing if he is playing tones below tuning at high volume and getting no excursion.

Never heard that one before. Typically youll either be at 0 or 180 to reverse it. Thats why alot of amps have just a phase switch. Might wanna try moving it.

Ok this is what I noticed

When it was at 0 I noticed that it was blended into the music...

But not at 180 you can hear the bass...
So I am guess that it has something to do with the frequency and it shifts it over so it can be heard...lol I have no idea...

are you sure you have the wires hooked up from the amp to the sub correctly (is this called 'correct phase'? whatever)

what i mean is + to +,and - to -.. you may have the wires from the sub itself to the box terminals wired backwards, and you may not know it. just a thought, happened to me by accident once, and i wasn't getting much excursion or power...

Phase has nothing to do with tuning or frequencies. It is simply reversing the polarity of the sub. Same thing as switching your positive with negative lead on the amp, just simplier.

Wow so many things wrong on those settings...... Keep the phase to 0 or 180 not 90.Turn that gain down on the amp to 1/2 or so, adjust the bass boost to 1/4 - 1/2 maybe even 3/4 to where it sounds the best, then come back to us
