A little bit of advice

When I got mine, I autocrossed the very next weekend before they were properly broken in and I didn't do so hot. I know my driving wasn't great that day but the tires just seemed to slide more than when I had my old tires (factory 15" Dunlop SP5000). It takes about 500 miles to wear away the crap they put on the tread to make them look shiny and new. Now, a few thousand miles later, they hold very well on highway exit ramps.

Just wondering why you did not opt for the Kuhmo Supra Tires? They have been rated very well by all magazines so far. And the cost is fairly cheap at only $100 in your tire size. I got them on my car and let me tell you the traction is unbelievable in the rain with that wide channel in the middle. Handling is excellent also.

I have the SP5000's. When new, they were great in the wet. As they have worn (around 75% worn after 25k miles now), the wet traction has deteriorated somewhat. But that occurs with almost every tire, and even with worn tires, my SP5000's grip much much better than the stock Toyos in both dry and wet.
