Your favorite DVD headunit without monitor

as it says above. i need to get a in-dash dvd/cd/mp3/vcd player to use with my microvision screen. I know a good amount of people have a 7 inch in the dash. I have found two that i like.

1. JVC KD-ADV6160 http://www.sonicelectronix.com/viewi...iliate=froogle

2. Pioneer DVH-P5000MP
http://www.cardomain.com/item/PIODVHP5000MP

What else does every1 use? If anyone has one of the two posted above please let me know how they are.

Thanks
-Sean

I'm thinking about getting the JVC because it's sirius. Otherwise, I'd go with the pioneer. I'd love to find someone selling the Panasonic one. Panasonic made one about 2-3 years ago. It would work nicely with my panasonic sirius equipment.

I have Pioneer DVH-P7000 its the same as 5000 but the screen is more fancy. Has visuals like dolphins and all of that stuff.
I'm selling it, so if anybody is interested let me know.
I would like to sell it with Microvision screen.

does the P7000 play MP3's as well? I've checked multiple sites for the specs on this and it seems that the 5000 plays MP3's but the 7000 doesn't?

Plz let me know if it does as I was gonna get the 5000 but if the 7000 plays MP3's as well I'm going in that direction

I just picked up the JVC unit and I must say it is nicer than I expected. I'm not a fan of JVC at all, but this radio may change my mind. No more reaching under the seat for me!

JVC also plays DVD's with MP3s on them which is something not many of the DVD players on the market can say the last I checked.

Probably a little late, but Alpine has a single DIN DVD headunit - think it's called the DVA-9860.

Almost bought it, but went double-din instead (after my KD-AVX1 episode).
