New audio set up
New audio set up
I fiberglassed a box for a new Type R 15 [I had a pair MB Quart 10's in], and finally got a chance to put my Canton comp set in. It sounds world better, but I need to get more of that bass into the cabin, so I'll probably take out the old bose sub and amp, and anything else on the parcel shelf.
Once I get the box carpeted I'll take some pics, but I still need to figure out what to do with my amp and my xovers in the back.

Unfortunately, the wife and kid are still on vaction [with the digital camera], so I couldn't take pics of the build up, but it went like many of the great examples you can find on the net. If you're doing one for the first time, take the time to review some of the many good write-ups out there to save yoursef some mistakes.
I like the new Type R a lot, but I'm sure it could be louder in a nice large ported enclosure. As it is, it's firing directly at the other wheel well, and in a smallish [approx. 1/6 cubes] sealed enclosure [I'm fond of those], to save room and the pass-through.
Now if only I could figure out what to do with my amp and xovers. I might just hook up the old RF EPX2 w/28 band eq, but then I'd have to find a place for that and the remote unit.
