Good Competition Speakers

I setup my sound system that took alot of money out my pockets, and put in some speakers my brother had lying around in the 2 front doors and 2 rear deck and all but one has blown out.. My tweeters in the passenger side also blew out, So i think its best i go for something that can handle the bass and mid/hi's because the amps i have is powerful.. I dont want no expensive 200 dollar speakers either, can anyone recommend some good competition midbass speakers that wont blow from the power going to it?

Creative is right... You get what you pay for... comp speakers for cheap, no way... that is a better oxymoron than "military intelligence"

The Boston Acoustic Z's are great competition speakers...they handle GOBS of power and are clean as anything.

competition speakers dont exist, the user has to make them competition grade through the install....tuning and aiming with at least knowing the fundamentals of a proper soundstage..

I what you want is high quality drop in's, your choices are numerous...

What power do you have for them? since you left that out...and please be specific-whats your listening tastes? do you listen to your music loud?

well the kickers amp i got is the 850.4 amp, which is the highest in the kx series... I listen to my music loud, alot of Reggae ,rap,r&b & soca. I like sound more then bass, Because the bass i can get out my L5's are strong enough, so i like some good component speakers where i can hear the music

I have some Powerbass components. Those things are good. I am actually putting some in my sunbird since the ones in my max won't fit. All of their speaker sets are rated at 240 watts. They actually went good with my two L5's even though only my rear coaxials were ampped and the front comps weren't.

Look into PG Xenon Components, also if your interested you can get CDT's for a around 200 and they can take about 200 watts to each side. I believe its the CF-61 series.
