Installed new system, have a problem

I installed new component speakers and an amp today. Everything went smoothly except for one tiny issue: when the volume is greater than 14 (max of 50), the music cuts out every three seconds for three seconds, then resumes playing for three seconds. Help please.

No, I had a problem, then I decided I also had a question. Answered my question looking elsewhere and also solved my problem. Therefore, I posted that I didn't need any help.

Friggin' awesome. At 20 (max 50 on HU), it sounds like the stock system when maxed out. The highest I've gone is 30 because it gets uncomfortably loud. The clarity though is wonderful. I popped in a Chopin CD and it's amazing how easy it is to pick out the individual instruments. I tried a Coltrane album and same thing; the details that I get in my home theater are now in my car. For $400, I have no complaints.
