Pioneer vs. Rockford Fosgate

from personal experiences which one do you prefer? Im debating between the
Pioneer DVH-P5000MP and the Rockford Fosgate RAV-DVD1. any help is appreicated. Thanks all

Never a big Rockford fan myself. Except for their old amps, which are nothing special, but you could beat the **** out of them and theyd still work like a champ.

ya.. true. Some1 else has this HU and likes it. Its a lot cheaper then the Pioneer so idk. im limited on cash so i might go with this one. The pioneer is 400 bucks. ill let you all know

The RAV-DVD1's are okay, but take along time to load DVD's. Plus they're not being manufactured anymore.

ive never really had luck with RF, but i don't know anything about their decks. but i as well as many others would suggest Pioneer, all day

rf put out some pretty good decks. not flashy, but some are competition worthy. they had a lot of innovations. i think they were the first to have an mp3 changer and an mp3 head unit. they want to focus on their speakers and amps now, so they won't be making any more decks.

i've never seen the ravdvd1 in person, but was looking to get one when they first came out. i've only read one review of it, and the reviewer said there was a problem with the volume. it was an early review, so i don't know if they ever fixed the bug. they were one of the first ones that i saw that had the center channel output for 5.1.
