RCA Cable problems

RCA Cable problems

I had the nipple in the rca cable brake so i went out and bought some ends. Well i did the end on one side of my rca and it works but when i put in both sides the sub doesnt work.

Any thoughts?

Replace the cable entirely?

is it secure? sounds like it's not making good contact with the wires inside the cable

hook up a multi-meter and make sure you dont have an open circuit in the RCAs...the nipple is positive, outta part is ground...just check the impedence and make sure it gives you a number very close to zero.
