I think the stock 02 bose sound system is either a) terrible b) not tuned/set properly. The midrange seems very flat and nonexistent compared to the 00 non bose sound system. It sounds inferior and I think perhaps an adjustment is needed. I tried playing with the bass / treble but anything above 1 or 2 positions away from zero sounds even worse. Are there other settings I can try?

 

No one? Everyone's satisfied with their bose radio sound?

 

its terrible......not called blose for nuttin..... most of us here(on the board/forum atleast) have since tossed the blose and replaced with aftermarket.....

 

+1. All Bose is terrible no matter how you tune it.
