Suggestions for new battery terminals?
Ok, so when i did the "big 3" upgrade i also changed the stock battery terminals in order to accommodate the 1/0 wire as well as my 4 guage wire to my amps, I used the knukonceptz terminals, but i dont feel as though they hold the wires very well at all, so im looking to replace them, hopefully you guys well be able to help me out here. . . btw im having problems w/ my batt not holding a charge (brand new batt) i think that it might have something to do with the poor connection through the terminals, is this posssible?

I'm a personal fan of getting the regular terminals, and soldering all my connections. I can't stand the ones that use a little set screw. When it comes to doing the big 3, it's a good idea that all your connections are soldered. Reduces the chances of the connection wiggling loose.

Any recommendations on good terminals? I'm going to be running 2gauge to my amps and plan on putting 1/0 for the Big 3. All i'vefound so far that can support this are Lightning Audio Bolt BCMON1 and BCMOP1. $20/piece.

Raga55 if you remove it, must replace it with higher ga wire- same size as power wire if possible.
Here's a pic of my Lightning Audio terminals...not as clean as the Stinger, but was what i had readily available at the time.

No there is ONE wire comming from the negative post. That goes to ground. Then theres TWO from the positive, one for the car and one for the amps. Your looking at the fuse back there and Assuming that its connected to the ground wire. Why? I have absolutely no clue.

ive replaced every factory wire because they are ****ty and the stock grounds become corroded so i cleaned those as well as added a ground for my alternator, and upgraded my starter power wire. Even the wire that connects to the fuse.... You know the 2 8gauge that go into the stock harness on the positive side.

I think from this pic, Chipotle18 is seeing the red and black side-post terminals and may think the negative top-post is on the right side (in the pic) - which is what it kinda looks like to me as well since there is a big + and - above the side posts.

I get a more than half off on monstercable and i like it for everything else so i'm tempted to stick with it, unless someone say it's not as good

Pick up the one that best suits your tastes/budget, there's no 'performance' differences...just different options for 'eye candy'

Without a doubt, the BEST terminals you can get the the Stinger Expert ones. You can pick them up on ebay from around $60/pair. They are BEEFY AS HELL, and clap down wire in a way that rivals most welding jobs.

The angled set screws work like a charm.

hmmm, decisions decisions, now i'm checking out this expert series, and it's says it accepts dual 0 guage and dual 4 guager or a combination. Seems rather specific...will this not accept 2 gauge? I was going to use 2 guage for my amp power wire and 0 for the rest, i wasn't wanting to use 0 guage for the amp cause basically it's probably more than i need.
