Any reason why you left the lifting strap on?

if it'll fit 1 gauge and 4gauge, apparently it'll fit 2 gauge(being its in the middle of the two)

lol,Havent updated pics in a while. a long while lol. As for that it was kind of there from before (This was one of my trunk batteries in my other car ) so the strap was never a matter, and truthfully I never looked at it once i moved it to the hood of this one

Ok 1st let me apologize for resurrecting this thread....BUT I'm slow and I need the help....

Ok...I just picked up a set of the Stinger terminals and I'm ready to do my Big 3 upgrade on my A33 / 5th Gen. For those that have replaced all stock wiring:

Did you fuse the new (+) battery terminal to the alt wire? There is a stock fuse on the stock positive battery cable that I am thinking of removing altogether...any thoughts/comments from those who have done this?

Any pics or step-by-step write ups for a 5th Gen? Just looking at the alternator placement it looks like a PITA to get to it....do I have to access it from under the chassis?

Thanks in advance for the help guys!

I haven't done the upgrade myself yet i'm waiting on a few things to arrive but on all cars it's pretty much the same. This seems to be the write=up that everyone refers to

http://forum.sounddomain.com/forum/u...=5;t=007801;p=

and The Phatone...if you get something that accepts zero gauage it will accept 2 as well, and i'm sure there is a shop around LA that will do it, and car audio place or any decent mechanic can do it.
