I'm picking up an amp (memphis 1000D) to add to my system. I'm currently running an alpine mrv-f450 off of 4 gauge wire. To add the memphis, should I rerun 1/0 gauge wire from the battery to a distribution block in the trunk, or can I run a block off the 4 gauge in there already and run the memphis amp off of that?

I'm assuming I should rerun with 1/0 all the way, but I figured it can't hurt to ask.

 

4 gauge should be sufficent but if you ever plan on upgrading, I'd run the 0 and just get it over with.
