hey I have a 97 maxima, is it possible to have a remote start from stock keyless entry system? Is it possible to solder wires to the keyless board somewhere?

 

Yes, DEI sells a module that is meant as an add-on to a factory keyless. I think its the 561T or 561R or something along those lines. You dont touch the keyless board, you just tap into the factory wiring and mount the module under the dash somewhere. Most installers wire them so that when the DEI module reads a pulse on the lock wire either 2 or 3 times, it remote starts.
