4-channel with Bose head unit
4-channel with Bose head unit
I'm tired of my stock Bose headunit cutting out the left side speakers, yet I want to keep the stock, clean appearance of the stock unit, and keep the convenience of the 6-disc in-dash player. So I'm wondering if hooking up an rca adapter to the right side front and rear speakers would be sutiable to feed into the rca adapter in order to feed into the rca inputs of a 4-channel amp.
Would this allow me to run the 4-channel amp to all the door speakers, and prevent the loss of the left speakers due to cut-out since the signal comes from the right side only?
I know the balance and fade would be completely off, but as long as all speakers work, that is all i'm concerned about. The loss of the bose sub will not make a difference, since i'll have a seperate amp to run a pair of 12's, using the secondary rca outputs from the 4-channel to feed into the sub amp.
