Summons in NYC for Loud Radio
I just got a summons in queens the other day for having the radio on too loud. Did anyone ever get one or know how much this damn summons is? I have to go to court the end of december.

Ouch. In FL we just get a ticket. $89 where I live. Sucks the distance is only 25ft here. I can fart and be heard from 25ft.

Soon enough cops will be whipping out Termlabs and metering your car for court data/evidence...wtf..court required summons is such tough, PITA bs to have to deal with-same as they are doing out here for window tint violations...waste your day/night in court, pay court fees on top of what the violation calls for....

yep my old roomate got a ticket with his stock crappy corolla system one time. he paid $77 and was mad about it. luckily i havent been caught yet...

You should fight it in court, you have a few witnesses here that can say your car isnt even loud.

how loud did you have it friendhasmax? some cops can be very **** about sh*t like this. that cop must be having a bad day.

lol......join the club, i think queens is the worst when it comes to that. In the Bx and in Bk i never got a summons for a loud stereo, only queens.

the price of the summons could vary one time i paid 40 and one time i paid 105.
