Help please

0k, I'm not that big on sound but my speakers need a lil bass to them.
my sister in law hand me down a 10 inch woofer with 140 watts.

I have no a idea how to hook up a woofer. can any one help me out here.

I has a red and black cord. I dont know witch once negitive and witch one pasitive

I dont know if i need a amp.

by the way I check out the web sites on the stikies but half of them dont work

red is postive, black is negative. yes it will need an amp unless she gave one to you as well.

but we need more information to further assist you (amp info etc)

0k the box saids10 inch 2way stereo box

Power Handling: 150 watts (RMS)
maximum power:450 watts

I got a 96 max the speakers in there are all stock even the sterio
