Does the dash mat make the dash more insulated so sound doesn't bounce off of it as much?

I'll just cover my whole interior with that egg carten foam rubber stuff. LOL.

I'm also thinking about puting the midrange drives up on the dash or pillar. What midrange do you guys think is the best. I've considered focal 4w2, dynaudio dome mid, scan speak revelator mid, or focal 3w2 be. The only mid I really want is the 3w2 be but it cost soooo much money. That 3w2 will play all the way down to 150hz and it's sooo small.

Yeah go for the Focal 3w2! Heck you got the money for that tweet!

Yeah, the dash mat prevents reflections.

I'd look domes personally if I was gonna try to glass mids in pillars.

Good luck. Sounds sick!

I know. Just trying to live vicariously through you. I sure as heck can't afford em!

My "tweets" will end up costing me about the same as yours, but they'll be under the dash

I never thought i'd actually buy those tweets but I couldn't pass up that deal. Retail on them is $450 ea. I saved almost $400.

Recently heard some nice id horns, forgot which model but they were probably high end id horns. The imaging was amazing. The soundstage was in the center of the dash and it was about the size of a softball. Note: it was all due to install, no time correction.

I didn't know that... Probably would cost more because they'd be new. I know you sell Genesis. Genesis speakers looks like ScanSpeak. Are they made by ScanSpeak?

Did you get my pm?
