what's with the KnuKonceptz boxes? i didn't get those when I did my order, but that was over 2 years ago now

 

Most of it isn't going in my car....I buy stuff for cheap (ebay), decide if I like it, keep what I like, and sell the rest.

I got the knukonceptz boxes with my interconnects. The interconnects I bought are the knukonceptz's best....

That GIANT amp in alot of my pics is actually 5 amps connected together. Two of them are tu300's, one is a modified tu300 (twice as much power as a normal one), one is a tu4360, and the big one is a usa3000. I also have a tu600 and another tu4360 in my car right now. The amps that I'm actually going to use in my car are: a usa3000, a tu4360 (or a tu300), a modified tu300, and a tu600. As far as the speakers, I'm only going to use the focal utopia 7w2's, and I might use the rainbow 4's. Not using the audiocontrol stuff either. I need to sell almost all the stuff I'm NOT using. I also have some mb quart stuff that I need to sell.

I'm probably going to sell them. The only thing is that one of the tweeter's dome surround is a little messed up because they melted slightly from being in my car when I lived in NM (very hot summer). They still sound good though. If it's a problem, I'm sure you could probably get a recone kit from dynaudio (or maybe don). The tweeters are VERY easy to disassemble and reassmble. The other tweeter is perfect.

what material is that surround made of?

 

It's the same material as the dome and I think the dome is made out of some textile.

It DEFINTELY didn't melt because I was giving to much power or because I had too low of x-over point. Melted from the sun. When they were in my car I was using passive x-overs @3.5k. These tweets can go much lower than 3.5k....I was also only using 75wrms per channel.

Right now I'm using a/d/s px concept tweets and I like them a little more than the dynaudios. When get my scanspeaks I'll be selling the ppx concept tweets as well.
