Ipod Nano Installed
Ipod Nano Installed

Custom mount I made: (Ipod held on by velcro)

I am thinking I should make the wires so that when they're not in use I can tuck them away in the slide out tray below the radio. Also I am contemplating whether or not to splice the headphone jack in the white cord and use the Ipod's line out via the dock connection. I'm afraid with that with teh Bose AUX mod, the volume will be too low, even when turned up all the way.
Hope you guys likey!

did you really make the mount or is it a panavise or profit from another car? it would look so much better with a maxima specific mount on the passangers side. then get a black cord and tuck them in the dash.

I bought a different cord, so there is now only one connector going to the Ipod. I don't think they make black cords for Ipod's. None that i've seen anyway.
If I made the mount on the passenger side of the dash, I would have to lean out of my seat, reach over and use the controls on the Ipod. With it mounted on the driver side, it's conveiniently reachable.

could you link to the instructions on here please?
Why might it not work on the bose system?
what about using a standard cd changer antenna adapter and connecting the ipod as though you would an aftermarket cd changer?
