Skipping

Skipping

0k I just put in a new car radio in my car, but every time I play a CD any bump I go over it skips.

could it be that is loose in the back or

could it be that I didnt put the frame (it didnt fit)

When I installed my HU I made sure that the HU was in there good. If I were you I would just double check that. Because it seems that your didn't tighten it enough.

Yea i guest. I miss a couple of screws cuz they fell in the dash and i couldnt find it. could that have to do with anything. but all the screw for the radio are on.

If you can grab the cd player and try and move it and it doesn't move, thats good enough, what type of hu is it?

its a Dual. before my boy gave it to me it work find

Well maybe its the cd player. Not to Flame Dual or anything but my Alpine doesn't skip at all. My dad had a cheap HU in his car and it skipped all the time.......just a thought....

my friends car got hit from the side and the hole left side of his car caved in almost touch his shoulder. could of that cuase the problem??
