speed sensitive volume

I'm looking for an aftermarket mp3 capable headunit with speed sensitive volume. I've asked the major stores and none know anything about the speed sensitive part. Do any of you know of affordable headunits with that feature? Thanks!

My HU has it, but I never use it. It is supposed to turn up the volume when there is more road noise and decrease it accordingly. Has different settings, off is best for me .

Yesterday I got to drive a car with that feature, and it made a lot of sense. I get a lot of road noise in my car, and it make a lot of sense to have it, esp in stop/go traffic around here. My friend's 5 year old blaupunkt has the feature, but I can't find any current models with it.

As far as I know, the actual "speed sensitive" stereos come stock only on GM vehicle and are wired into the ECU so that they literally react to increases in speed, not increases in road noise.

As far as I know, there is no after-market HU for a nissan that offers that exact feature because the stereo and ECU were never wired together that way in the first place.

The wife's F150 has it. I personally think it is annoying. You will fight to have a conversation when transitioning from lower to higher speeds. I have it turned off. I don't know of any aftermarket units with that feature.

A few of the Infiniti models come with it. My friend's blaupunkt was wired to the RPM, and even those I can't find anymore. Strange.
