what 12" sub is best?-ID12v3, ED 13kv.2 or A/D/S R12s

I am trying to decide on a single 12". I want mostly sound quality and it will be in a small sealed enclosure (size dependent on the sub). The amp that will be running it is a Planet Audio D class and it does about 500 rms @ 2 ohms (it's a TT850.1 or something). I still have the stock speakers and HU but will soon be deadening the doors. I listen to mostly rock, but enjoy rap and jazz occasionally and want it to bump when it's rap and have a solid bottom end for jazz.

I haven't heard much about the a/d/s I just remember reading somewhere that it was a decent sub and decided to throw it in here hoping that someone knows if their stuff is any good.

Thanks for the help.

Diamond Audio D6, Arc FlatLine would be my first to consider for SQ in small boxes.

Where can I get a good price on an Arc Flatline? I know I will be over powering the sub, but I'd rather give it too much power than not have enough for it (a little headroom never hurt anyone). I'm just having a hard time justifying over about $130 for a sub as I am in school and also trying to buy some home bookshelfs for xmas.

forget the book shelfs...you can get those for $40. arc flatline is rated at 1,000 watts rms. you should be fine. oh and "friends don't let friends buy ED".

i know a guy that bought a NINE.1 amp to power this Avalanche, and it crapped out on him shortly afters. He got another one through warranty...but we're just basically waiting to see when this replacement amp will quit on him.

you have to be a member to read it. i was way off...its a 91 page thread. their CS is all fake to make up for the sub par CS they had years ago.
