You could also check into the elemental designs EU-700, or even the RE XXX mids as well.

the elemental design eu700 will be plenty of what you want for 100 shipped for the pair or 100+shipping, either way worth the money.

i dont get it...you looking for midbass or subbass?

If you are talking about midbass...all a midbass driver will do back in those doors is muddy up your midrange and pull your stage back- totally counterproductive considering you will have some awesome speaks up front. A simple pair or coaxials is all you need if you are itching to put something in the rear doors.

didnt realize he hada differeing year, lol, usually take it for granted that we are all 4th gen . didnt make sense to me either figured he wanted to be able to play his setup without the sub and have a decent kick and was looking to reingorce his front stagge with more low end, non sub type...now im curious if these were for the rear doors.

no i thought you meant rear deck and were just looking for some drop outside of using the subs all the time. I dont play my sub usually and only kick it in when im feeling froggy. Personally i wouldnt use rears if you have enough volume up front, but in extreme cases their necessary. sounds like youll be more than covered and safe with just a lil coax

if you are looking for subbass, theres a factory cutout for Bose , room for an 8" IB sub in the rear deck as an option to not take trunk space...then there your option for a trunk mounted enclosure for one...either will need amplification of course

If you are the type that likes music coming from all around you, yes then replace the rear speakers with coaxes- but if you are looking for a proper soundstage to recreate a concert effect, leave rear speakers out of the equation...just components and sub will suffice

lol..if you cant get enough bass to satisfy with those two subs, then you are using the wrong combination of subs/enclosure/power
