^^ I was thinking the same thing. here's my setup:

Peripherals are a must. F'ucking hot machine other than that though, and that's coming from a rather anti-mac guy.
Get some Logitech Z5500s, Klipsch's, or something (I got my X530s for $42 shipped...) and a good Logitech mouse--that will give you the whole package.
Jeez, nice mousepad though...

Do you have any backlighting issues with it?DIGITAL - seriously, get some real speakers. Unless you are perpetually muted, you won't regret it.
Still love that 30".

I just built a dual X2 4400+, 6gb PC4000, SLI 7800GTX

Dual 2405FPW's, two 0+1 arrays, PCP&C big black box, and water cooled. All said and done the bill rolled $10,800. Too bad it's not mine

Again, I'm more or less a gamer who does editing on the side, which makes the PC all the more vital with its ability to reach those latest framerates.
What chasis did you use for that beast?

The mouse is a logitech, optical. It does what I need it to. I've had other ones that are wireless, bluetooth, etc, with teh wireless keyboard, etc. But I use it way too much and it's stupid to pay for batteries every month, when I can use USB power. Makes more sense for my application, since I use it everyday, for the majority of my waking hours.
But if I was going for looks only, I would have the wireless stuff.

And I'm usually pretty picky about that sort of stuff.

And that monitor looks like a 15"? You can find a 17" for 199$ at staples this holiday season. Treat yourself to one, if your funds allow it...
