Need some speaker spacer recommendations

wassup guys,

I just installed some MB Quarts 6.5 PCE216 in the front and my windows hit them slightly as they go down. I need some spacers and I was wondering if anyone could recommend or give some insight on this subject. My concerns are:

-Will they cause any rattling?
-Will it decrease sound quality?
-Will they fit in my panys w/ the spacers?

Any help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

-Will they cause any rattling?
Will decrease it in the immediate area
-Will it decrease sound quality?
Will actually make them sound better
-Will they fit in my pantys w/ the spacers?
Only if you talk to them nicely...

Any help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I would personally do some deadening right behind the speaker at least and if possible go with some treated foam to psuedo enclose the speaker. Other than that youll be fine. Get with Pearl96Max he can cut you some rings

That's about it ... just make ur own spacer out of MDF. I traced the stock plastic ring onto MDF, cut the speaker hole and voila. Ideally, you want to cut the speaker hole first, then cut the trace line out. There's plenty of space in front of the speaker before you hit the door panel.
