Alright, cool.
Alright, cool.
Okay there's a way to bypass the bose amps without using the PAC altogether. It requires the head unit to have front rca outputs and rear rca outputs. The red and white plugs coming out the back of your 1300. Since your's only has one output you could only use this if you wanted to wire the bose to be in mono instead of stereo which would make it sound about the same as it does already. This works well if you use a headunit with dual preouts.

All you have to do is connect all the bare wires that go from the pioneer harness to the bare wires on the pac. They should all match in color. Then hook the opposing harness to the stock harness, plug and play then adjust the gain controls on the pac. Done.

Whichever you want to do, is your choice. Make the decision and I don't mind helping you out with either option.

Haha thats alright, he may end up needing both of our help in the end anyways. Or we'll have to make him come out to Edison. It's always better to have more people who KNOW what their doing help, than one retard who knows nada

If you have someone that can solder and all that, you're in better shape than i thought.

Wow guys i missed alot, went to an xmas party and this thread blew up while i was gone
once again, i need to get things straight, I can bypass my stock bose speakers without using a PAC altogether?, Nismo i kinda lost u when u where explaining how u do this.
To clear things up:
-i have a 98 (not a 92 anymore) with stock bose
-bose headunit just broke and i need to replace it
-I have this alipine headunit : http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1099388650606
Should I buy the PAC, and plug-in and play , or what is my other options?, are my bose speakers gona be alpine friendly?
