DVD/E-Brake

I just got a radio/cd/dvd/mp3/wmp player for my car

when i play my dvd the tv turns blue n it saids that is unlawful to drive with the tv playing. i have to put the e brake on to play it

i havnt hooked it up yet cause i wanna know if i could connect that to something elss not the brake cause i wanna drive with the tv on. not for my but for my passenger. for long trips on the high way

can any one help

Typically you would just ground that wire. ALthough that doesnt work on Every unit, just the majority.

my friend grounded his in his suburban, theres a way around the ebrake thing on most players

so all i have to do is just grown the wire in to metel and the blue screem gose away??

There actually a converter that you can use. It gives you a button to press so that if ur ever pulled over you can press it and it will show the "its unlawful" screen. They have them here at the Upgrade car stores.

ground the dang thing. The switch thing is usually for the alpines. Usually have tow input wires and you have to flick them and get the timing perfect for it to allow video driving (Thats the ghetto way), the easy one is to use the video switch on ebay.
