4th gen aftermarket HU grounding

I'm about to gut out my whole stock Bose install within the next few days (just gotta buy an amp wiring kit and finish my sub box) so i was going over which wires need to go where etc. cuz i dont want any surprises WHILE im doing it,altho i have a feeling thats just wishful thinking, and the wiring info i got from mobiletoys.com says that the ground for the HU is the chassis. So does that mean that i can connect the ground wire coming out of the new HU (its a Pioneer btw) to the mounting bracket im going to take the bose HU out of or somewhere else?

Thanks in advance and im sure i will have other questions hehe

Yes you need to ground the HU directly to the chassis. Theres two bolts behind/below the HU that you can use either of..
