Speaker Install

Picked up some new Alpine Type R speakers off ebay for $100.00. Install went pretty smoothly except I managed to break the trim off the door handle.

I also had to shave off the little nubs on the speaker mount.

Install Time 45 Min

Cut rings from MDF, rather than using the factory plastic mounts. Your ears will thank you later.

Both of my front speakers had been blown for a while...finally got to me. They sound pretty good, all four speakers now are Alpine Type R's. Within the next month or two i'll probably get an amp to power them.

I had a non bose system and I just used the factory wires...for now!

This is whats currenlty powering the speakers Alpine 9853...
