I like the look of it, but interior wise Im leaning more towards the 4Runner. It feels more car based then the Pathfinder.

Damn that sounds weird now.

seriously just go test drive them and buy which one you/she likes more
comparing them is beans.
end of the day 1-2mpg doesn't make a difference to be a deciding factor, and if towing ratings were actually a factor you wouldn't be looking at this class lol.
buying a car with/'for' women for the unexperienced:
1. ask them what they want/like
2. have some choices in your head for when they say I dunno
3. be prepared to have to choose which car to buy, most of the time they will say "i dunno"
4. ask them what they like the most about each car and make a decision (read pursuade/convince them) that will keep them happy.
Chances are you will end up making the decision for them unless they already have their mind made up and want a specific car.

Isn't that the truth. When we bought our Highlander, I was actually looking for an old 90s Land Cruiser. This came about because while I was in Afghanistan I got to drive a pimped out Land Cruiser. And I wanted one just like it when I got back. We chose to test drive the Highlander just for $hits and giggles. Turned out the wife loved it, so I got her to agree that the Maxima would be mine if I bought her that. She misses the manual... but doesn't complain too much with the ride quality and heated leather seats.

Not for some time, the price of the 6600 is still TBA. So availability, especially on that one wont be for a bit.

* Safety...think about the twins, not your ego. Being Jenn will be the primary driver I'd want a more real world manuverable vehicle..
* Cargo space
*REAL passenger space (captain chairs, awesome second row comfort and more than adequate 3rd row seating)
* These drive like cars and have better fuel efficiency than SUV's
* A vehicle where A/V is more enjoyable for the passengers.
* No other vehicle can the passenger quickly move towards the back while vehicle in motion in case the child is choking, vomiting, crying histerically, ****ting, needs a bottle, etc...
Call me old, but between the Max and my Pathfinder I crave still more space, more comfort. You got yourself in that tight backseat G35, you should have a larger platform for the family/grocery hauling IMO.
Test drive an Odyssey or Sienna and you might change your mind.
Best post I've read in a while. Manny, you almost had me convinced u were serious.

Im going to the dealership that I used to run for afew years, so I should do decent, but PM me over a number and Ill still check with him. I purposely going in my car rather than Alti, so we dont rush into anything and come home with a new car like the last three times.

Im pretty set on the Odyssey Touring. Test drove and played with one today. Although the numbers still need to be worked out better in my favor.
Ill most likely be waiting til Monday to speak to Rich's uncle for pricing, although Im an impatient person and may have trouble holding out that long.

Ehh... I'm looking at another Frontier right now. If all goes I hope... I'll be back in the SPL game here in the next week or so. Of course there'll be no screwing around now... 1st thing to be done... MCD1100
Then it's onto other stuff... exhaust, intake etc.
