I wanted to add a MP3 player to the AUX of my HU as the damn thing wont read any CD-RW's and Ive only seen the Bose write ups but as the title suggest I was unlucky that the guy who bought this before me opted out of the bose. Is it possible to add this without it sounding static-ish or low volume if at all? Thanks for the help.

 

Your best option would be to go with an aftermarket HU.
