just wondering where u guys mount the brain for the remote start

A good place (if it has a starter kill function) wouldn't be under the driver's dash, since that's obviously the first place someone would look for that sort of stuff.

If you don't have ABS, remove the left kick panel and there's a large empty space there where the ABS computer normally is. That's large enough for quite a bit of wiring and an alarm/remote start brain.

Behind the instrument cluster, or under the center vents? pmohr's driver kick panel was where the previous owner had his installed, and it easily reached all the wires it needed. In fact I didn't know it was there till I went to install another alarm. Haha.

In a 4th Gen, you can mount it behind the radio on the hump. Lots more rom than the kicks, especially if you want to put speakers there later.
