getting up to the OEM navi install in a 4th gen... (i30)

okay so ive been upto this for a while.. and its hard to find things...

anyhow.. i finallycame acrossa harness i needed for the cd changer...

only thing is that the end that plugs into the changer was cut before i got to it... = ( [junk yard]

now i have the two wiring diagrams.. but the grounds are fin me up....

THIS IS COMMING FORM CHANGER

THIS IS COMMING FROM RADIO

(PS. the 2001 qx4 oem bose radio came with tons of features.... (inputs radio/cd changer/tel/navi ... you can wire up alot of things to that single din unit)

well ive got bose.. in the i...

what im doing is putting in the navi out of a 2001 qx4

ive got the ocmponents.. the qx comes with a single din radio with casset and a changer under the seat...

the particual single din has input for navi and telphone... so it will mute whatever in audio int eh front left speakers to mute..... and play whatever the navi or telephone is saying...

now i wanted to start with the radio.... so the only porb is that i have the harness leading out of the headunit... but the harness was cut before it got to the cd changer... the cd changer has a harness on it... now the connector part (tip of harness from radio to changer(tip near changer) is cut.. ) so im connecting the cut end directly to the cd changer....

theres two wires.. wires for power and memory red and yellow... then the L and R channel.. then theTXT and functions.. now the GND is whats killing me...

theres 3 GNDs on the changer.. and harness has 2....

so the channels are connected.... L,R etc.. .and other connections ..

the changer powered up.. checked for what Cds are in the changer(changer did this automatically).... but then when i hit the cd button on the radio... nothing.. its not sensing the cdhanger.... so what do i do.. = (
