92 Maxima Bose system...

So, I have the Bose system in my car.. all the speakers are blown, but before they blew, I loved the sound I got from them. Can I rebuild them? (I think it's the amps that are blown, and not the speakers?)

I have a new headunit I want to put in, but I understand I need some sort of converter to use a new HU with the bose speaker system?

So basically, I want to use a new headunit, with the old (but rebuilt, or whatever I need to do to fix them and use them) speakers/amps.

How do I do this?

I'd say scrap the bose, remove the amps and get new HU and speakers. I'm not sure if they can be rebuilt. Is the cone torn or what?

bose runs at a lower impedance than your headunit can tolerate. swap out everything now, and itll save you the headache down the road.
