I currently have stock Bose all the way around. I was thinking about installing a Microvision in place of the Bose HU and a portable DVD player in the armrest storage.

The most I have done in terms of in-car electronics is help a friend remove his stock HU and wire up a new one. I just need to know how much work is really involved in this to make it function as well as look nice and clean. I'm guessing that I would need a new HU to put in place below the Microvision and wire it up to the original harness. And then I would need to wire up the DVD player to the Microvision and the monitor to the HU, correct?

I can get the monitor and DVD player for about $150-175 total. I would also need to get a HU, I assume. Anything else?

Sorry, but you practically have to walk me through this. Is it more or less straightforward, or am I in over my head?
