I have the stock bose system in an 02 Max GLE.
when I play cd's it doesnt come out of all 4 speakers. once in a while it does, but not usually. can anyone point me in the direction of the fix for this problem, if there is one.

Very common problem, there is a TSB for this. If you are still under warranty, take it to your dealership and they will replace the HU under warranty. If not, you may have to pay for the replacement so it might be cheaper to go aftermarket in that case. A temporary fix is just to give the HU a firm whack, that usually got mine to work properly for awhile.
