Box size, based on parameters alone?

Is there a way to determine the best box size for a speaker based on all of its parameters? How can I tell based on the parameters if I can use a sub in a small box < 1cu ft?

better pricing there...I checked PE and Dayton's site for box specs. IIRC the programs I mentioned have these subs built into the program already to show you what box size you need. is this for HT or your car?

Nismos, you're referring to a ported box correct, and not a sealed box?
