Anything out there better than an FM Modulator?

Searching for this did not give me the answers that I was looking for. I'm building a carputer, and keeping the stock bose for now, so unless I get some sort of rca adapter, I need to find other means to feed sound through the system while maintaining as much sound quality as possible from the carputer. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I'm eventually going that route, but was needing a fix until then. The headunit I want is not within my fundage range right now cause it's all directed towards performance mods.

Don't spend too much on an fm mod. I have some available for $25 shipped this is a belkin tunecast which allows you to use any station on the fm dial.

Haven't heard of them, but will look more into them. Any other info on this?

Some times I would say the tape adapter is almost better than an FM modulator. Sometimes you can hardly hear the it when your in certain places or certain frequencies are being broadcasted. Most def. look for something that you can set to any station. The one my friend got is too close to a big radio station and always gets two songs at once.
