is there any drilling involved, like on the engine firewall etc?

i could take a look at it for you if u want to drive down here. Most likely if your automatic their is a plate where the clutch lines would go through that is able to be drilled

many have drilled, many didn't. on my 3rd gen, i drilled for simplicity' sake. but on the 6th gen, i'm going to snake the power wire through this large grommet near the passenger side on the firewall.

i didnt drill. i ran the wire str8 down the driver's side. theres a gromet somewhere over there. easy as pie.

you dont gotta drill. see my attached pics









thats the predrilled grommet and that rubber thing is in the hole. just pull it out, punch a hole through it and push the wire through. the third pic is where it comes out under the dash.

thanks for the help. we ended up drilling a hole near the driver's side.

This is the easiest way, nice wal-mart wiring kit

look out n00b coming through. i wanna hook up a sub. i just need to know how the power hooks up to the battery? and is there any alternative other than hooking it directly to the battery?
