Buy a wiring harness. The harness connects into the factory one and has all of the connections on the head unit side labeled. Don't forget to also get the antenna adapter. What are you planning on getting?

1-right
2-any place that sells car audio
3-yes to best buy, no to radio shack

Where are you buying all the equipment?

Upgrade your battery under the hood, and do the big 3. Don't waste money on a cap.

Don't buy it from ebay, you'll have no manufacturer's warranty on it.

The wiring harness and antenna adapter are not that much. You may end up paying more after shipping charges on Ebay.

I have seen many things on Ebay saying that the item comes with a manufacturers warranty. This does not make it so. Some of the items I have seen have been from companies that only have a couple of authorized dealers on the net, and the guy(s) selling the stuff were not on the list.

Ebay cant offer any manufacturers warranty. Some (very few) sites are actually legit to sell Some products, but usually only a handful despite what they may say. When in doubt check directly with the manufacturer, as they will usually have a link showing who is authorized or they will say no online sales at all. Worst case if its not listed, contact them directly. The only site that I can honestly say is fully authorized for Everything they sell would be Crutchfield. Decent prices, Excellent top notch customer service. Always a warranty.
