Thing is over the years I have gotten used to that all-in-one is usually not as good as buying seperate although a little cheaper... I just want to look at other options and compare them before I make a final decision... So what do you think? Also which amp would you recommend to power that 10w6v2? After all that how do you think it would compare to the dls ASB310? Also can you think of any other options, because I remember you said that was just one off the top of your head. Thanks.. There is soo much info out there!

Oh and by the way could you pm me how much you would charge me to install this stuff? Thanks.

P.S. what other options would I have Don for say $500 installed by you?
get this..

Definately just get the DLS all in one. You will be happy. The RMS rating means very little when you think about the overall quality of the package. Plus many of the other brands you suggested are overated as far as power goes.

haha okay okay I got it!
Comon Don stop making fun of me lol!
Its just really hard to find any info on that DLS setup and there is so much info about JL, and Diamond, etc...

And I was asking Don for the install
Don so you definitely think that the ASB 310 is the best for under $500? You would not be able to put together something better for a little more than that? anything with a 12" woofer?
Also does any1 have this installed so I can perhaps come by and you can demo it for me? I am in NYC/LI. Also why is it that I see most people use seperates and put it together rather than an all-in-one. Don I would rather spend a couple of bucks more if I can get a better product that will pohd harder tighter, and wil llast me longer, and allow me to expand.

Why dont you just tell me exactly what you want and Ill give you a price. Originally you were at $300-350, then $500, now a few bucks more...

haha yea thanks to you. I thought I could get something good for $300. Heres the thing I would like you to install this thing and tune it nicely so its all good and stuff. The budget is $500. Ill stretch it another say $50 if I can get something much better for a little more you know what I mean?
I wnt something that I will feel hard in my chest. Also in the future I might decide to have a good front sound stage, so say I put in some nice components for $300. I dont want to have to think that my sub is not up to par you know what I mean?

*EDIT* Oh yea and I would still like to be able to get to my spare in case I need to

and thats exactly what I was doing..

Nice components need an amp to function, gonna flip the coin for that as well?

If you get components, get the amp with it.

Do things right the first time.

Deal with bass when you have the money.

I think the BP-10 would overwhelm the pounding in his chest. Although then again he may not feel confortable with it being only a 10" and even with the lil 60 watts that I ran it with would be enough to impress the majority of people the "paper numbers" wouldnt be there for him.....

Don comon I got it. That is why I am asking questions and going with your advice. BP-10? So let's do this Im excited... So what do you think up to $550 with the things I wanna do and the type of music

I understand its not all about the numbers on paper that is why I am consulting with you because you know your stuff and I believe can put something nice together for me I was just a little skeptical because I see many people even on this forum spend that kid of money and not as single one had the ASB310, thats why and I doultn find any info on it and JL is all over the place. But I see what you guys are saying its not just whats on paper. So what do you got Don I'm ready. Something nice up to $550, but I think that is def the max lol. Thanks a lot by the way.

Don is trying to help. He isn't out there to rip you off, so trust him. Its when you come back posting ridiculous ebay links that it gets frustrating. Just tell Don your final budget, and what you are looking for (which it seems you have now done) and trust that he will get you the best available to suit your needs, because he will.
