Well Im glad I listened because my friend who got the audiovox is having non-stop problems with it. So I def. trust Don to do my stuff.

More efficent sub, enclosure built and designed by the same makers of the sub itself and less expensive. You do the math...

regardless if a sub is 1-2 db different in "spl" the amount of $ you are saving is tremendous. by going with these illustrious brands, and with a solid install for a good price, you are LIGHT YEARS ahead of what 99% of the car audio population owned on their 1st, 2nd, or even 3rd systems.

Cool, thats all I Wanted to here. Because I foudn some incredible reviews about the Arc 12s that its fast hitting musical etc.. Just wanted to see how it compares. Thanks again Don, and please dont stress over this, I will definitely go with your recommendation so all is well. So what's going on with that invoice by the way?

And yea I think this threads needs to be closed once where done,l but it does contain some good info though for people who want to upgrade their stock systems and have a similar budget.

Awesome. Thanks slickrick. Good to here. Yea because I talk to mostly people that dont know that much but have these crazy boxes so IVe never heard of most of the brands like rainbow, arc, etc... until I started doing reserch here, so I just want to know what to say when people ask me what I am running Plus I couldnt find much info on the rainbow Hammer 12" but most of the info is on the ir component speakers. But thats why its awesome to have someone like Don, and why I wanted to makre sure what I get is good stuff because I dont want to have to upgrade my bass for a while even if I upgrade the front sound stage

Lol I probably wont sleep at all. Ill be listening to music in my car all night somewhere in the parking lot with the bass cranked up. This is so excisitng though I mean it is my first real "system" upgrade to make it sound good. Because seriously that BOSE sub is a joke. I just wish I knew all of this when I bought the car new, because I specifically wanted the fully loaded BOSE package as well. I would have just gotten the cheapest radio and then spent the money on upgrades. Oh well...

I'm just scared to look at the invoice now. I'm sure Don will be nice right? Would you like to pm it, or just post it here whatever you feel comfy with.

You wont find much. As right now youll be one of a handful to actually own the Hammer series in the US. NoOne aside from me has ever even entered into US territories.

As for whats going on with the invoice? After 6pm...Nothing This is my freetime, not worktime right now.

Because US distribution wasnt allowed to have it. Rainbow restricted it as too much confliction with thier other subs. Also distrubutors didnt want it due to conflict with thier own manufactured subs.

Alright, question time is over, show up with the money on install date, and STOP ASKING QUESTIONS. Your all set and your system will be great, I can't believe all this hoopla over a $600 setup!!!!!!!

Over the course of my audio life I've spent up to 6 - 7,000 in audio equipment, I'm sure that is a light figure compared to most of the guys on here.

Holy freaking Lord! What does this mean to you: "Installation and wiring will run you about $100. Grand total would be mid to high 5 range". Taking into account that "mid to high 5 range" would be, hmm, roughly $550 to $599, I'm ALMOST willing to cut a check right now for anything over $550 for you if it would just get you to STOP! I can honestly say now that I fully understand how someone might snap and commit multiple homicide.

I know, I should just ignore this thread instead of getting angered by it, but as you even said yourself, it does contain (some) good infomation for other noobs such as myself if only wading through the crap was possible.

You've been educated here so many times. Just consider yourself lucky to have the ability to purchase even this inexpensive (but apparently quite good) equipment and call it a day.

Don, I don't know the slightest thing about you except what I've read on this site, but I know that you have to be the MOST patient person, EVER. Mother Theresa, Ghandi, nothin' on you...and with new twins even. Hell, I thought having a 2 yr old was tough...sheesh.

see me Im different. It comes to making an informed purchase or giving your money away.

I look at it and think that the person selling it is jaded. Theres no need for an 8 pg post about a minor setup for the simple fact, All of the hard facts have been posted, here as well as all over the internet. You can easily find the numbers to back or skip any of the recommendations given. Hit up google, look at the spec sheets, ask questions on the facts. In doing that youll realize that you arent going to end up with an off the shelf walrmart setup that your boy has. Your going to end up with a one off, well crafted, high end piece, that MORE THAN LIKELY your local shop cant even touch. Whats that mean?

Its time to pony up, dig in the wallet and start another post about box design...If it goes over two pages well all start -1ing your rep points...

Okay thanks. Except I could not find any info on both of the items suggest, the DLS and the Rainbow Hammer sub which I am now getting. I more than googled it and did a forum search at other forums and found 0 info on both of the units. Thanks for the tip though

Right I mean from reviews. I prefer not to read about a product from the actual manufacturers web site... Believe me I did my due diligence.
