Hey guys, I am a click away from buying all the gear for a Carpc. I have built them before for friends, but my biggest question is has anyone put a screen in the dash of a 2k2. I was looking at a 7" touch screen and would like to integrate the 7" touch screen into the dash, and stll have room for a deck. Exactly like the 4th gens that have done it. I like that setup, but just into a 5.5gen. Also for those that have done it, where is a good place to put the actual carpc box? thanks guys!

This guy did something similar to what you are talking about http://www.flickr.com/photos/smesser/sets/1096066/ . In fact, I wanted to do the same thing - install a car pc in the max. Thats a little later on down the line though. Gotta get some brake pads and rotors first.

Hey Cpuguy06, hit me with a PM, i am just getting into the carputer market. I have put togheter an all in one setup that you will want to know about. Just for starters, it has somthing to do with a 2.6gig processor mounted on a fully loaded mini itx board........tell you more if you pm me.
