it's a really simple look. just adding another 3/4" MDF baffle to my existing box...it'll give the sub a flush mounted look (sub will be centered). the baffle will span the width of the wheel well. then i want to have both my arc mounted on either side of the sub, also flushed in. all the wires will be hidden behind the baffle.

Thanks Manny. I want to play around with the layout in the trunk a bit and gain my .2 or so db just to say I am in the 40's. I consider it all consuming right now

the tl hits considerably lower than the audio control. Which is right? who knows, but the db difference in some cars has been listed as 6-7 dbs. Realistically metered on the dash and if you used the "Old Standard" you would be considerably farhter into the 40s

I hit 146.2 with 500 watts, and 4 under powered subs. Next time try having someone sit on the trunk. And don't forget to seal off your entire trunk, around the tail lights and everything.

I know that was in a truck, but what meter was it? Also, I would meter 147 on an AC. That is an approximate # ofcoarse, but that is what several db drag competitors have said. Oh yes, about the trunk, I have 6 bulk packs, 2 of which were dedicated to the trunk. I think I am safe there. After the trunk gets flushed out I will try having someone hold the trunk down. 140's, here i come.

filtor, pics of your setup?

I'm curious about the dampening. Wish I could have stopped by when you were at Don's getting it all done.
