I got metered today...finally

Here is the system:
Eclipse CD8455
Rainbow Contours 6.5 comps for front stage
Type-R 6.5 comps in the rear
Alpine MRV-540 for the highs
2-Diamond Audio 12" TDX's 4cubes tuned to 32Hz slot port
1-Diamond Audio D6 1500.1 for the subs
0ga power and ground (Stinger)
0ga Big-3 (Stinger)
Second Optima Yellow Top in the trunk
6-Bulk packs of Stinger Extreme RoadKill

The meter used was a brand spankin new TermLab
Meter was on the dash, 12" from the A-pillar and 4" from the dash
All windows were up and back seat was down

And the score was= 139.8 Not too shabby for a trunk car and a pair of SQL subs.

Anyone else who has tested on the new TermLab in a Maxima? What did YOU get?

My amp was clipping, I will change some things around and try for a 40 some time soon. I have to work on the trunk, it looks like trash.

My system does suck. I wish it was louder. But I want to see what others are hitting in a Max on the same meter.

the termlab is placed near the passneger kick, driver door open, engine on. i'm sure you'll hit higher if you got metered this way.

We did it with the meter in the kick but all the windows up and the score went down to 138.6. Maybe I needed to open a door or window.

Good. We also did bass race mode, playing music with the average SPL over 30 seconds. I had a 136.9 playing some Geezy airforces.

One more, we took a reading from the legal location and opened the drivers window. 140.1 playing a 41Hz test tone.
