Just adding more strain to your stock alternator...

Then simply put, you need an alternator. Running stock I dont believe you even have 1400.
What amp(s) are these?
i curently have an alpine mrd m1005(1000rms) and an alpine MRV-F345 (75x4) Im upgrading my subs comps and amp and wanted to know what kind of electrical work im in for....im also in the market to upgrade comps and was interested in rainbow So im actually running 1300

It wasnt meant as an insult to you at all. I dont know your knowledge and I dont judge.
Just my usual sarcasm.Although I must metion your already topping oout that stock alternator. I would move to an upgraded one, or more efficent amps. Whichever one appeals to you more since you want more power.
Oh i didnt mean it like that i didnt take it personaly i was just letting you know im not too much of an idiot.....where would you suggest getting a rebuilt alt and would you mind suggesting some more efficient amps in the 1400 - 2000 rms range..Thanks -Rick

For alternators I personally prefer Ohio Generator. There are alot of others as well though that Ill let other members chime in with.
As far as amps, are you sure you actually need that power? More efficent amp/solid built design can yield you the same results with much less power. Just trying to save you a bit here.
