Eclipse Head Units

I hear a lot of talk about the Eclipse head units in this forum. I've been reading up on them and they seem very excellent, a lot of features and the quality is outstanding. Tell me why I should buy one over a Alpine or Pioneer. I'm looking into the CD3000. How good is that one? Please enlighten me on the Eclipse head units.

Thanks,
Aaron

The circuit city near me sells them if you want you can go to your local circuit city and see if they sell eclipse. They had the CD3000 for $250 i went there today. It looks amazing but from some angles you cant see the screen. Besides that it is one amazing HU.

The point is I'm getting a $300 CircuitCity gift card soon. I didn't know if they had Eclipse in the store yet. I was looking through a Crutchfield magazine. I wouldn't trust anyone at CircuitCity to tell me if it's a good head unit or not. I would go in there knowing what I need.

you just said "tell me if its good or not" So I answered.

Anyone that deals with Eclipse should have them, I got them in stock not too long ago.

So Crutchfield says they are expecting the CD7000 on the 10th. How accurate is this? (When will Don be expecting it? )
