look, i trust these guys they have had various systems featured in lowrider magazine's that i have seen and heard first hand, and seen and heard a few of his other non featured projects, one for example is a vehicle with 12 15" sub's and it only has 4 chambers. basically he said if i am not impressed he will redo everything, no problem. not to mention i am over there for a couple of hours a day talking and going over various ideas for the setup. personnally i like the setup, and if you don't you don't have to listen to it. Sorry to get upset but, i am honestly taking this a bit personal. i am sure you guys are knowledgable, but i am not a newbie nor am i retarded at all when it comes to audio, actually i am quite knowledgable. maybe not as much as some of you but i would venture to guess that i know more than most, especially around here. but thanks for your input.

It's gonna look funny with that big space at the top of the box, or have you addressed that already?

Man maxmale, that looks great bro...!! Question: Did you dynomat the whole trunk? and that space above the bub box, what will go there? LED's/Neon? I think the set-up is the best ive seen on a 6th gen, so keep the pics coming, i look forward to great detail of this project... I own a JL Audio 500/1 Monoblock and now i have to figure out my best set-up. Might get one more (500/1 mono) and run each to a sub. 12"s, 15"s???? I am new to this audio stuff, so guys can you help me. Here is my amp info:

*Number of Channels 1 - Mono
*RMS Power (4 ohms) 500 watts x 1 chan.
*RMS Power (2 ohms) 500 watts x 1 chan.
*RMS Power (1 ohm) (at 1.5 ohms) 500 watts x 1 chan.
*Bridged RMS Power Not Bridgeable
*Peak Power Output 1000 watts approx.
*Min. Impedance Unbridged 1.5 ohms
*Min. Impedance Bridged 1.5 ohms
*THD @ Rated RMS Power 0.05%
*Speaker Level Inputs No
*Amp Preamp Outputs Yes - 1 pair
*Built-in Crossover HP/LP (40 - 200Hz)
*Bass Boost 0 - 15 dB
*Signal-to-Noise Ratio 95 dB
*Fan Cooled N/A
*Fuse Rating 50A

I got a really good deal on this amp, that i was going to put in my truck when i owned it, now its sitting in a box, waiting to be hooked up... Thanks...

the space above the box, well they want to put lexan there and incorporate the maxima logo into it, with an orange light backlit, just like the back of the box, you can't tell from the pic but there is a nice orange accent light inside the box.

on another note i asked him if he could mass produce these boxes as they are made specically for the 6th gen and he said he could. so if anyone is interested in a box for your 6th gen pm me, the guy will work with you and is very helpfull.

OMG!! F'ing YES!!!! how about the outer curved space... PM me about it, and i can see what i can do.. Actually this set-up looks really similiar to a set-up i saw at Texas Heat Wave, by some serious pro's.. including how they did the box with the cut out between the subs... Didnt ask them why, but it sounded bad azz...

please note this will be just for the box as the other piece's are custom and would need to be specifically made for your car, honestly if you have tools you could probably do it your self he used some sort of flexible wood (cool stuff).

of course not. it sounds good but the bass seems to be trapped in the trunk to much for my liking. So i am going to remove the side panels and the top insert and put them back in for shows only. it still needs a little tweaking here and there but over all i am happy with it. it is still a little rough around the edges but i am working on that, i just got hired by this guy so i will be working on it frequently, if anybody needs any memphis products let me know.

Sweet!!!! This is something i am looking into doing.. 9 bills hugh? is that for everthing? including subs, amp, and all? i am figuring its just for the custom work.. if so, thats not a bad price... I am going for a grey, black and white look... My interior will be getting an upgrade with black and grey leather seats, so i would need the vinyl to match up... in about 2-3 years(car paid off) i will be painting the top of my car black...

which panels are you taking off to hear the base better in the cab? So you say that the subs are not putting out, or is it because? Is your trunk dynomatted? if so what material did you use... Looks really good, and i love the way everything looks.. Clean bro.. Get that diamond plate powdercoated either black or that orange color... also look for the euro diamond plate, i think it would set it of better.. it has like 3 slash type crosses intead of one criss/cross as you see in yours..
