Anyone had charging problems from subs

Just wondering if anyone has had any problems with charging or alternators burning up or anything from there subs? I read that they put a big strain on your alt. but im gonna run 2 10's so they should not draw more than 30 or 40 amps right? My factory alt is rated at 125amps.

bring a fire extinguisher with you at all times...nah bro you are fine with a small amp on 2 10's. 40 current draw is roughly 400 watts rms from a class D amp so you are fine.

No problems at all, I Run JL Audio amps. And I extract every ounce they give , make sue you use Quality 4-AWG. connection wire power & Ground and insure your ground is Never longer then 12" and you'll be fine. Don't follow these instructions and your setup WILL sound like crap.
